About this deal

What you are left with in the mid and dry down is a scent reminiscent of the stale air in a small donut shop. A place where the donuts nor the coffee are terribly good. It has the sweetness of a decaying compost pile. First spray is soft, mouth-watering coconut, a hint of apples, delicate orange blossom and Jasmine. Very beautiful, elegant and mysterious. It smells expensive. The juice matches the gorgeous bottle.

You will smell like some fruit tart/bakery when wearing this, but in a good way. I think it is yummy. The opening is more joyful and transparent, but dries down a sweet gourmandy scent. Nonetheless, it's not all sweety and creamy; the coffee note is there to prevent it from going full blown girly sweet. Quite a few people said this can be used year round and I expected it to be slightly lighter and more floral. Possibly more along the lines of Dolce Garden. These are different, but there are similarities with creamy, sweet white florals. Rouge Malachite has a more forward tuberose, while TOOI has a more forward jasmine. Both have excellent performance. BUT beware: Don't overspray it! 3 sprays are enough for the whole day. You might hate it at high doses because it is a bit synthetic (at least for my sensitive nose). TOO2 was a huge disappointment basically. To my nose, I smell the first TOO fragrance, but it's getting covered by strong floral scents. I smell rose and berries in the initial spray. I guess it's alright but I prefer the deeper, yummier TOO. Seems like a lot of flankers are coming out that look like they're gonna be more intense but are actually lighter (see Armani Si and Armani Si Passione, though there are other examples). This is not screechy, doesn't burn my eyes (jasmine...euuugh) and is smoother than any of the BO line that I've experienced...with the exception of the "BO-Le Parfum" which I absolutely am addicted to and adore beyond measure.

Despite being advertised for women, I believe men can also enjoy this one. It is really yummy and works well in colder weather or in air-conditioned environment. On my clothes it remains a little more fruity sweet. It’s almost like two different scents that smell great together. its a rich creamy fruity rose scent......and i dont mean fruity in a teen way lol........its an adult version for sure :) i picture a woman in a beautiful long red velvet gown- hair swooped up , perfect red lips - everyone eyeing her type of gal going to a evening gala in this scent :) Sort of tried hard not to like this as I bought too many perfumes I didn’t need another when I just got a bunch and all I wear is Narciso Rouge ! However those notes ,,, how can one say NO to this , violets and cofffee are 2 of my favourite things in life. Iris and pear ,vanilla and patchouli STOP ! This is a must have for me !EDIT: After the first full-day wear, I will allow this to sit and macerate in the closet for a few months and return to it. The scent is absolutely lovely, but it does not project at all currently. Hopefully it will mature and reach it's full potential... The longevity is decent with it lasting 7hrs on my skin with a moderate silage, it makes me think of being wrapped up in my scarf, coat and boots while walking down a street in Oxford on a cool autumn/winter morning. While its nothing unique or groundbreaking, it does, to me at least, feel classy and elegant with the right amount of sweetness. I also agree with people who say it smells like something from the early 2000s, except I cant quite place what it is. The Only One fragrance that came out in late August 2018 as a new flanker of the original The One from 2006, gets its sequel in the form of the new edition The Only One 2. The first fragrance brought the composition of a gourmand iris in combination with coffee, while chapter 2 introduces a scent of powdery rose and violet with a sweet coffee note. The Only One 2 will be released in mid-February 2019. I usually don't go for berry/cherry-rose-powder perfumes because I have a few in this genre and I always think they're enough(Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, Nina Ricci L'Extase, Guerlain La petite Robe Noir Intense,Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge and a few more sweet berry, rose with some powder perfumes). but I had to try this one because I really like D&G The Only One eventhough it's not unique.
