About this deal

He attempts to keep his distance because not only is she too young, but she's his best friend's sister. She exuded a confidence I wish I possessed when I was her age and because of that, she was a perfect counterpart to Gordain. If you haven't read the other two books in the series Marry the Scot, you should really start with Storm the Castle, then move on to Love Most, Say Least before diving into Hero.

From the cover of my hiding place, I silenced my phone and tapped out a message to my brother, my hands shaking. The twins with the twins was especially adorable, and the real estate scene was satisfyingly triumphant. Despite everything—the rush in which I was leaving the estate, the rage my uncle had flown into, the million and one other things that had gone wrong, and my poor, poor, violin—a rush of excitement ignited my blood. He can be frustrating at times because he makes choices counter to his heart, and it causes issues between him and Ella. Her favourite pastime is wrecking emotions then making up for it by giving her characters deep and meaningful happy ever afters. His focus found my eyes and we both stopped moving, staring for a long moment that gave me a rush of chemicals, fizzing and wild.

I’d kept out of his way, hell-bent on a personal mission of my own, taking a little piece of revenge before I left. Ella is slightly younger than him and mixed with the fact that G is her older brothers best friend, this story gets very interesting extremely quickly! On a patch of flat ground behind the first rocky ridge, the helicopter waited, the last of the evening light reflecting off the glass cockpit. If you have gotten this far in this review and are still unsure about whether or not to pick up this book. You are on the edge of your seat hoping the lawyers find away for Ella to get access to her money but there are twists you don't see coming as well as an undeniable attraction between them if only they were really honest with their feelings. Emotional, sexy, romantic, and suspenseful - I loved this story and look forward to the next book in the series.

I probably did a disservice to the series by starting with this one but I can’t say that I regret the decision. I always pictured my brother's best friend to be impressive--after all, he's a military helicopter pilot whose job is to save people.

I enjoyed Ella and Gordain's developing relationship - both the "making eyes at each other" AND the "tear off each other's clothes" phase! Now I'm impatiently waiting for Wasp's book - I just know it'll be another sizzling story from Jolie Vines. His unhinged voice had come from the mansion’s central entrance hall, the echoes from the marble floors and high ceiling giving him away. Yet her uncle Richard whom gave James so much trouble in the last book, still has his plans for Ella. Gordain who is a little older than Ella (about 5 years) is a feeling unworthy of love not to mention that Ella is the sister of his best friend.
