Lapena keeps the well-developed twists churning, with each a surprise notch in this ever-evolving plot, and she continues this skillful storytelling until the stunning twist at the end . . . memorable.” Psychological thrillers like to toy with characters’ and readers’ perceptions. Where did your sympathies lie as the story unfolded? How did they shift as the story progressed? Just read “The End Of Her”,absolutely loved it!!!Will buy all of her books to keep me company! Reply

A woman’s body is found and her husband and all of the neighbors are suspects. Who is your friend and who is your enemy? Sorry, I’m afraid that I cannot tell.I'm not sure what you are questioning. Adam killed Amanda because his Dad was having and affair with her. Glenda killed Carmine because she thought Carmine was too nosy and would reveal what Adam did.

Who is this boy, and what might he have uncovered? As whispers start to circulate, suspicion mounts. No OTT ending This was actually one of the better endings I've read lately. The author didn't throw everything and the kitchen sink at us, and I actually liked the lil cliffhanger. I felt all my questions were answered. PSYCHOPATH ALERT !: Amanda’s husband terrifies the hell of you as a quiet mash-up of Ted Bundy and Talented Tom Ripley. We know there is not something wrong with him. There were so many things really really wrong with this guy! The town of Aylesford in New York State's Hudson Valley is an affluent community where families know one another and have the occasional neighborhood party. There was so much going on in this neighborhood. I loved it. It was a little Desperate Housewives -ish.I actually sniffed out where this was going earlier on, but there were still plenty of twists I didn't see coming that kept me guessing till the very end. My only small gripe is that not everything was explained; there was a small point left purposefully unclear and I had been looking forward to its explanation. Thrillers love to ask the question: How well do we ever really know anybody? Do you think people in real life harbor as many secrets as they do in fiction? How far do you think fiction strays from real life, or do you think truth is actually stranger than fiction? Discuss. About this Author A Conversation with Shari Lapena I just finished reading The End of Her! The book was great, please tell me there is a sequel?? My book club and I want to find out who killed Erica! Reply Released on the 15th of August in 2017, this title was published through the ‘Doubleday Canada’ publishing label. Setting up her fourth title it works as a suspense filled thriller that aims to keep the readers on the edges of their seats. Much like her previous title, ‘The Couple Next Door’, which was also a thriller, this seeks to create a compelling narrative that engages and hooks its audience. Born in 1960 she was born and raised in Canada where spent the large majority of her formative years building both her and her ideas. With a strong passion for both reading and writing, she would come to hone and refine her skills as an author throughout the years. Taking in inspiration from her surrounding environment she would come to put a lot into her and her work, as she was always seeking new material.

When the mystery is finally resolved and it all makes sense, you will still be asking yourself questions about how far people are willing to go to cover a crime committed by somebody they love. The house feels different without anyone else in it-full of possibilities. A little shiver of excitement ran up and down his spine." You have become my favorite author. I’ve read 4 of your books in the past three weeks! Keep up the good work. ReplyShari Lapena.... I love this book ❤️ Once I got started I struggled to put it down and would have read it in one sitting if I could. I have read books from the author before so I knew it would be good but I think this one is my favourite so far. There is so much going on all the time and getting to the end of each chapter you just want to keep going.
